The very first meal I've ever dehydrated back in 2018 was this white bean stew. This one however is the new and improved recipe!
The first improvement was to cut the gluten element, this stew is thickened by more stew! We make a Navy bean stew puree, freeze-dry it and powder it, we then add a couple tbsp to the final package and there you have it, uber nutritious and a chock-full of flavor meal! The Tuscan kale is added at the end of the cooking process so that it keeps a lovely bite to it. To elevate this meal even more throw in some smoked kielbasa and have yourself a proper rustic backcountry dinner!
Ingredients: Cannellini Beans, Carrots, Celery, Onions, Kale, Fresh Thyme, Bay Leaves, Garlic, Olive Oil, Salt, Black Pepper, Lemon Zest.
